Mikael has also worked as a consultant for Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Malmö Symphony Orchestra, providing programmes for their film and game music concerts and connecting them with Hollywood film composers and studios.

Before Mikael launched his company, he worked as a newspaper journalist for over 15 years. He has also been a correspondent for film music magazine Music from the Movies and currently holds the position as the editor of L.A.-based Film Music Weekly, an industry publication focusing on the latest news in the film music business. Mikael has an extensive network in the film music business and has made numerous interviews with film composers throughout the years.

Additionally, Mikael is the editor of the magazine "Körsång", published by the Swedish Choral Association, and a regular contributor to the Swedish classical music magazine, "Opus".
